Free Email Newsletter Handling That Doesn’t Suck

Want to put out an email newsletter, but don’t want to pay for any services, fuss with phpList, or try to handle it in your email? Feedburner and any blog can do it for you.

All you need to do is beg, borrow or steal a blog, be it WordPress.org, WordPress.com, Blogger, Tumblr or something else that has an RSS feed, and go burn its feed in Feedburner. Then, activate the email subscription in Feedburner (it’s under the Publicize tab). From Feedburner, you can then get a subscription form where your readers can sign up (or you can manually add email addresses to the list).

Now, all you have to do to publish your email newsletter is to post to that blog, and your email will fly off through the internets to your grateful audience.

And it didn’t cost you any money – only a bit of time. How cool is that?
