Featured Client Site: Ashly Covington, Actress and Hand Model
I’m very, very excited to announce the launch of not one, but two client sites, both for Ashly Covington, whose hands are everywhere. Seriously. Axe body spray? She sprays it. Hamilton Beach boxes? That’s her. Ashly was referred to us for a complete overhaul of her old site. Over the course of several months, we worked very closely with Ashly to bring her visions to life.
The design inspiration for HandModelUSA.com came from an amazing photo of Ashly by photographer Willie Nash, which provided not only a focal point for the design, but also the basic color scheme.
For hmusa’s sister site, which highlights Ashly’s acting, voice over, and modeling work, we adapted the original design to use another fabulous photo.
Both sites, which are driven by WordPress, include streaming Twitter updates, galleries, and embedded audio and video; hmusa.com also has a blog.
Ashly was an absolute dream to work with, and the only thing I dislike about this project is that it is far and away my favorite of any client sites we’ve done. It’s a bit like having a favorite child, I suppose.
