Expanded Services and Lots More Coffee
For the last year or so, we’ve been hopping along on one and a half legs, with Mer fighting the good fight at a full-time dayjob and wrangling PHP on nights and weekends. Due to our current workload, a few exciting things in the pipeline, and the general level of burnouts around these parts, I’m thrilled beyond belief to announce that Mer will be joining me in the ranks of the completely self-employed.
As a result, we’re expanding a bit. We’re available for more in-depth PHP/MySQL development work than we’ve been in the past, and we’ll be officially launching our audio production services in the next few months. We’re also available for more concurrent work than before (we’re scheduling projects as early as two weeks out instead of the third quarter), and will be using things like advertising (gasp!) to get the word around.
It’s fun to think about all the gas money we’ll be saving now that she’s be working from home, but that won’t last long, as it’ll get swept away with the anticipated spike in household coffee consumption. Nonetheless, I can’t wait for the chance to take a day off soon. And maybe a nap. A nap would be great.
